Shane Isley

Shane Isley is the co-owner of MOSAIC Rehabilitation, Inc. and the founder of Blueprints, the company's behavioral and mental health division. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and licensed behavior analyst in the state of Washington, Shane got his start in behavior analysis as a behavior technician while studying psychology in Vancouver, BC Canada. Inspired by the changes he saw in the children he worked with, he left Vancouver to complete his bachelor's and master's degrees in behavior analysis at the University of North Texas. While there Shane gained a comprehensive background in the science of behavior working with mentors like Jesús Rosales-Ruiz, Shahla Ala'i-Rosales, Sigrid Glenn, Cloyd Hyten, and Michael Fabrizio.

Shane's passions lie in utilizing behavior science to make socially significant changes in the places where people spend the most of their time: home and work. In 2007, he founded West Coast Behavioral Consultants which housed two divisions: Optimal and Blueprints. Optimal focused on performance improvement within organizations, and Blueprints focused on behavioral intervention for families with children who engage in severe challenging behavior. As a performance improvement consultant through Optimal, Shane collaborated closely with the Performance Thinking Network® (creators of the Six Boxes® suite of programs & products). His work focused on helping behavioral health agencies establish and refine systems and processes that contributed to increased employee engagement and retention, and translated into improved business performance. He gained particular proficiency in building tools and supports to help practitioners of applied behavior analysis deliver high quality services.

Applying his expertise in positive behavior support and performance improvement to the needs of children and families, Shane built a rigorous family-centered behavioral intervention program including a comprehensive parenting program, Family Foundations. Blueprints gained a reputation for producing transformational change and keeping children in their homes rather than out-of-home placements. With an eye toward bringing these services to even more families, in 2015, Shane joined MOSAIC Rehabilitation bringing Optimal and Blueprints into the MOSAIC family. Today, Blueprints offers a wider range of services including early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI) and psychological services.
