Erin Friesen, MS, OTR/L
Erin is a licensed occupational therapist with a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy, from the University of Central Arkansas, Conway, AR in 2012. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a Psychology Minor also from the University of Central Arkansas in 2010.
Erin moved to Seattle from Little Rock, Arkansas in July 2016 and began working with MOSAIC in September 2016. From a young age, Erin has had a heart for working with kids- from volunteering in special education classrooms in middle and junior high, to being a camp counselor throughout graduate school at a summer and weekend respite camp for kids with disabilities. She has experience working with ages birth to 21 in outpatient settings and birth to 6 in a developmental preschool setting. Erin enjoys working with kids of all ability levels and collaborating across disciplines and with families to help her clients achieve their highest level of independence.
Erin holds certifications for Integrated Listening Systems, Inc. and Handwriting Without Tears. Her professional interests include sensory processing, self-regulation, feeding/oral sensory processing, fine motor development, and functional independence skills.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband Michael and dog Maggie. They can usually be found discovering all that the PNW has to offer through hiking, camping, biking, climbing, and backpacking. She also enjoys gardening and cooking.
