Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy involves the diagnosis, treatment, and management of movement dysfunctions, as well as promotion of wellness through the enhancement of physical functional abilities.

Physical Therapy treatment is directed toward the rehabilitation, maintenance and promotion of optimal physical function. Treatment includes the recovery of current symptoms and the prevention of the progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from disease, disorder, injury or surgery.

It is important to know that Physical Therapy can be provided only by qualified Physical Therapists or by Physical Therapist Assistants working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
