Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Beginning her work in the field in 2013, Erin first obtained her speech/language pathologist assistant certification in the state of Oregon. She then went on to pursue her bachelor of science degree in speech language pathology and audiology at Andrews University in Michigan. Previous to this, she has been both privately and corporately employed as an educational assistant to students with special needs, as well as in mainstream settings. The majority of her work has been with students who have severe speech and language impairments, as well as specializing in intensive environments providing intervention for ASD. Throughout the course of her formal education, Erin has completed two practicum rotations under licensed speech/language pathologists in the state of Oregon and Michigan. She is also a research assistant for the University of Washington, and intends to continue her studies in the area of autism intervention and research.
