Dr. Jennifer Bonow
Dr. Jennifer Bonow is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) and has more than 13 years experience working with families with children with autism and other severe behavioral disorders. She earned both a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) with Dr. Patrick Ghezzi. She first saw the incredible, life changing impact that behavior analysis can have in the life of a child and family when, as an undergraduate, she began working as a tutor in the UNR Early Childhood Autism program. Since then she has dedicated herself to providing these services to families facing all varieties of behavioral issues. She has particular interest in teaching language, self-management, and self-control. She also has extensive experience in teaching toileting skills, and finds the independence and opportunities those skills bring to a child to be one of the most rewarding and satisfying parts of her work.
In addition to serving families and children, Jen is passionate about the development of young professionals in behavior analysis and contributes heavily to the supervision and training of practitioners within Blueprints. She also teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in behavior analysis. She is an active member of the behavior analytic community, regularly attending and presenting at conferences as well as serving in a variety of roles in behavioral and community organizations.
