After a decade in the fashion industry, Bailee realized she was ready for a career change. While studying at UW with a plan to go into education policy, she discovered that working directly with youth was something she enjoyed greatly. She worked for Boys & Girls Clubs of King County and then in special education for Seattle Public Schools. It was there that she honed in on her passion for working one-on-one with children with special needs. Bailee has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from the University of Washington, and began her Master's program in Foundations of ABA in May 2016. Her professional interests include challenging behaviors, social skills, and working with adolescents. As a recent first-time mom she doesn't have much spare time, but given the chance she and her family love to travel. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Urban Artworks, a Seattle-based organization that helps court-involved youth gain valuable work experience through the creation and installation of public art.
