Nancy Underwood, MA, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist/Social Skills Coordinator

Nancy comes from the small logging town of Shelton, Washington, where she grew up as the first child of her family born in the United States. She is very grateful for the opportunities she was given, and wants to help children and their families gain the tools they need to have the same opportunities.
Nancy has always loved working with children and using what she has learned to help others. During her time as a graduate student, Nancy worked with a variety of children, including those with cochlear implants, hearing aids, communication devices, articulation disorders, and speech and language delays. Nancy also worked as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a public school district, where she worked with groups of children in the life skills and preschool classrooms, as well as with smaller speech/language groups. She enjoys working with other disciplines to improve not only functional communication, but all aspects of a child's well-being.
