Nadia Kabbani, MS, OTR/L
Nadia is a licensed occupational therapist, joining MOSAIC after completing a 3 month internship here. She earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA in 2016. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA in 2011.
Nadia has been working with children for most of her life, as a babysitter, camp counselor,
teacher's aide, mentor, and volunteer with special needs and typically developing children of
all ages. During her undergraduate studies, Nadia volunteered at a developmental preschool,
where she was first exposed to Occupational Therapy. She became passionate about the holistic
approach, and strives to incorporate compassion, creativity, and input from family and team
members into each session. She believes in the importance of approaching each session from
the child's point of view, and encouraging child-directed activities as often as possible.
Her professional interests include Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Rehabilitation, Motor Development, and Assistive Technology.
Nadia enjoys exploring her neighborhood while listening to an interesting podcast or audiobook. She loves trivia, and trying new recipes for weekly potlucks with friends.
